Weekend Treat Chaiffogato -- Ice cream with Chai Tea Recipe

Chai is a spicy tea that came from South Asia. This may not be everyone's favorite as it is a strong tasting tea. But for some, it is an exciting tea!

Make a chai tea lover happy with this simple treat.

Warning, this drink may be addictive. :)


INGREDIENTS:
2 tsp Chai tea leaves
1 cup boiling water
1 scoop of Vanilla ice cream

Energy Booster Three Step Easy Banana Tea Smoothie Recipe

Bananas in a tea smoothie to help us push through. :)

Let's whip up this very easy energy booster to get us continuing during the week!

No fuzz on making a great tasting smoothie.  This has tea in it as a variation. It is a great potassium-filled smoothie with a bit of caffeine. Great anytime of the day.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup ice
2 Tbsp raw sugar
2 very ripe banana
2 cups milk
170g plain yoghurt
1/2 tsp Black tea leaves of choice

Chocolate and Vanilla to Start Your Day Right

Want a great day starter tea drink?

Check this Chocolate Vanilla Tea recipe!

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 Vanilla black tea leaves
1 tsp chocolate powder
1 tsp sweetened condensed milk (or milk substitute)
about 200mL boiling water



DIRECTIONS:
Brew the Vanilla black tea using any infuser in the boiling water for 5 minutes.

Fun with Boba Tea or Bubble Tea Recipe

Big straws became more prevalent as people started to craze over these teas with round gelatinous balls to chew after every sip.

Sharing a few key techniques in keeping your boba or pearls soft and chewy, here is the recipe for Pearl Milk Tea.  This recipe makes 2 servings or one big serve if you are not willing to share.


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Bubble Tea Pearls black or boba
6-8 cups boiling water
1 cup sugar (preferrably brown)

1 cup boiling water
1 tsp Black tea
2 Tbsp evaporated milk or milk substitute (ie. soya or the like)
1 cup ice
bubble tea straws or a tall spoon to scoop the pearls
