Matcha Pancake rolls

Matcha is green tea leaves made into powder. It has caffeine so this still makes a good boost in the morning. Here is a recipe for Green Tea pancakes in the morning.

This is because I saw how you liked the Egg White Matcha Mini Muffins recipe. You must love this too. :)

INGREDIENTS (for the batter):
120g plain flour
25 g wholemeal flour
3 eggs
300mL milk
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Tbsp sugar or honey granules
1 Tbsp Matcha Japanese Green Tea

(for the topping)
2 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
a pinch of matcha
a pinch of honey granules

DIRECTIONS:
In a mixing bowl, mix the ingredients for the batter until smooth and free from lumps.

Heat up a pan then run a very little amount of oil or spray it with cooking oil.

Place 1/4 to 1/3 cup of batter for every pancake while cooking it on medium heat. When the pancake is brown on one side spread about 1/2 tsp of condensed milk on one side then roll it up.

Seal the roll by sticking a toothpick onto it.

Cut the pancake into 3cm or 1 inch pieces and drizzle the rest of the condensed milk, then sprinkle matcha and hony granules.

Enjoy these bite-sized pancakesin the morning or to go!
